Lookie here, a screenshot from a LinkedIn post about a mysterious movie gig! Stand by, I’m going into a raw, emotional project. Sweet Spirits of Frances McDormand, be with me!
What’s up with Diana Wilde and Happy Cat Ranch Productions? Just survival. As many of you may know, I left a problematic marriage recently. To do so, without money or even a clear destination, was terrifying.
But it had to happen. Six months ago today, in fact. I drove away from husband, home… and my beautiful studio.
Bronx, Sweet Bronx.
Since then, a few auditions. I live on someone else’s couch, at age 67,along with my Beagle. And I look for more auditions, IΒ apply for day jobs, and I blog about my experiences on BuyMeACoffee.com; partly for the therapeutic good it does for me, and partly because I want to help other women who are going through this.
And today, someone bought me 50 coffees! And another supporter followed it up with another five coffees. I am literally depending on this kind of support to survive. So I’m wearing the #HattitudeOfGratitude all day every day.

And let me know if you need some quality voiceover work! We can rent a studio!
As you can plainly see, I am on my way to Coney Island to meet up with the girls and the gulls. Perchance to eat clams and drink beers. As you know, my skillset is strong in this area.
It’s been a really stressful couple of weeks. This girl is off today. And among the delights of New York City, itβs only $2.90 going and $2.90 coming back. And once the fabled new driver’s license arrives, I can knock that down to half price because the MTA has a swell arrangement for us over-65 farts.
